    - For breeding and genetics - improving productive qualities of pigs of factory type KM-1, of breed SM-1 and of large white breed with the use of modern methods of artificial selection (index selection, the definition of the genetic structure through allele frequencies of blood groups among the studied breeds of pigs, biotechnological methods of identification of genetic markers, related to the economic useful properties of animals in direct or indirect way);
    - Determine of the effectiveness of hybridization of pig breeds of native and foreign breeds (as paternal forms are used pig breeds Duroc and PIC at the final stage, with 2 - and 3-breed crossing);
    - Assessing of the productive qualities of commercial hybrids obtained in different technological conditions of the complex (commercial hybrids obtained with use of pig breeds such as Landrace, Kemerovo, Large White and Pietrain). Assessing of characteristics of the productivity of commercial hybrids is based on growth from birth to the date of the end of fattening.
